Operational Readiness & Transition

The handover from delivery to operations, done deliberately.

Situations this practice answers

01
“We are mobilising a new operation or entering a new market and need senior capability before we can recruit it.”
02
“Something is going wrong technically and commercially at the same time, and our internal teams disagree about which it is.”

What we do

We assess readiness for entry into service; support mobilisation and demobilisation; design operational and maintenance organisations; and support the handover from a delivery organisation to an operating one, including capability transition when a client is standing up or handing over a function.

The delivery-to-operations handover is under-served and genuinely difficult, and it is precisely where commercial, engineering and operational decisions collide.

INPUTSWHAT WE EXAMINEWHAT YOU RECEIVE
Evidence and the specific question enter; we examine the defined scope; you receive a written output with reasoning and limits shown.

Evidence basis

Mobilisation and readiness of maintenance teams for a new fleet entering service, and mobilisation-stage commercial process establishment on major infrastructure programmes.
